Sending You Hugs & Fishes

Hi Crafty Friends,

Today I am sharing another Slimline Card I created recently.

For this card I used Lawn Fawn's Build An Aquarium die set, turning it so it was tall rather than wide so it would fit onto my slimline card. I die cut the black frame of the aquarium 4 times, stacking three on top of each other for some depth and then adding some acetate before adding the fourth frame to the top.

I used the largest stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn's Large Slimline with Sliders die set. I created a brick background to the upper portion of the panel using Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Bricks Stencil and yellow/orange shades of ink. I layered a grey panel of cardstock to the bottom of the card for the place for the aquarium to sit on.

As the card is tall, it needed something else on top of the fishtail. So I added a cat using Mama Elephants' Inside Pop Bunny and Cat die set.

I added two sentiments using SugarPea Designs Don't Be Koi stamp set and die cut using Taylored Expressions Simple Strips dies.

For the inside of the card I used the stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn's Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps die set. I added the "fintastic friend" which is from Hero Arts March 2019 Card Kit. The "birthday" sentiment is from The Greetery's Sentiment Suite - Birthday stamp set.

I added a few of the fish from the Build An Aquarium die set around the rectangle panel.
